What is Thesera G?

Thesera G is a Korean beauty treatment that gives you a post-laser effect through its unique methodology without use of any aesthetic machines or any acids. This treatment delivers laser-quality results for a fraction of the price. It uses sea sponge spicules from non contaminated areas of the ocean, gently pushed into the skin by rubbing and tapping. Once inside the skin, it stimulates the cells for ~72 hours. It is often referred to as a Korean physical peel, since you obtain similar results as a chemical peel, without the use of any acids, therefore avoiding sensitizing the skin, and leaving out all possible side effects usually associated with a chemical peel.

It is also referred to as Korean Bio Microneedling. In the same fashion as traditional Microneedling, the nanoscopic spicules will create micro channels in the skin, allowing all active ingredients to penetrate, and stimulating the skin to repair itself.

How many treatments do I need to get sustainable results?

You will see a difference after the first treatment. However, based on specific need, you may need up to 3 treatments to optimise the results.

Do I need specific care following my Thesera G treatment?

After the peeling, the skin can be pink and sensitive. You can feel the spicules in your skin for up to 72 hours. Therefore, you are not allowed to touch the skin for 8 hours following the treatment. After the 8 hours, you must use specific at home products for the entire time you are doing the treatment. Due to the spicules being under your skin, you will feel a prickling feeling at the touch. Do not rub the products, but gently tap them in.

Furthermore, for the 3 days following the treatment, avoid direct sun exposure, alcohol, and extreme exercise. The use of sunscreen is mandatory following each treatment. Peeling of the skin may happen in the 3 to 7 days following the procedure. The use of the at home products is mandatory in order to avoid excessive peeling and skin damage.
