What is luminotherapy?

Luminotherapy is a treatment that uses various colours (which have different wavelength) of LED in order to achieve different results with your skin. Red light stimulates collagen and elastin, amber light is most commonly used to promote circulation. White light penetrates the deepest and works to tighten and reduce inflammation and blue light kills the bacteria responsible for acne.

Is luminotherapy painful?

Not at all! You are comfortable lying down under the light with your eyes covered. Some clients are so relaxed they even sleep a little.

Will I need special care after luminotherapy?

There is absolutely nothing that need to be done following luminotherapy. However, it is always recommended to continue to care for your skin at home. Your technician will be able to advice you on what to add/remove from your skin routine.
