What are dark circles?
Dark circles are dark blemishes located under the eyes. Dark circles are a result of the thin layer of skin below your eyes showing the blood vessels and the blood they contain more clearly than anywhere else on your body.
What are the causes of dark circles?
Dark circles have various causes, including:
- Age (the skin under the eyes get thinner with age)
- Fatigue
- Anemia
- Genetic predispositions
- Periorbital hyperpigmentation
